When I was reading Ghost Ride by Marina Cohen there were certain moments that I could connect to my life. For example, in this book Sam Mclean has very strict parents and I can relate to that. My parents have high expectation for me and my school work, so I always have to do well. However, my life seems much better than Sam's because in my opinion, his family is worried too much, leaving their 13 year old son with no freedom. Another connection I made was that I recently moved just like the family in the book. Although there were differences I was still able to relate this book to my life in some way or another.
