...This is a famous picture of a man who stood in front of a column of Chinese tanks near the Tiananmen square(Beijing) on June 5th, 1989. It was the morning after the government's violent crackdown on the Square's protests and this man, whose name is still unknown, wanted to stop the tanks from going into the Square.He was just an ordinary person, whose actions shocked the whole world. Just like Katniss in the Hunger Games series, he was ready to give up his life in order to make a point and stand up for what he believed in. He did not back down when the tanks tried to go around him and wasn't intimidated in any way by the giants. I chose this photograph to represent inner strength because he did not stop the tanks with muscles, but surprised everyone with his will to stand up for himself and others. This is true strength. This man had his mind made up which helped him get rid of any fears and doubts, and by doing so, he has achieved international recognition...
