...This poem is an example of the power inner strength can give to one little person. This boy has found himself going through something no one should ever go through and even when he felt like there is no purpose to his life, he still had his mind set on the good things around him. Once again, "Strength is a matter of a made up mind" and this poem proves how someone could find that light again at the end of a very dark tunnel. This remind me of Katniss, in the Hunger Games and how she thought her life was over until she found the strength to hold on for Prim. Just like this boy, at first she could feel everything slowly slipping away and she knew shes rather be dead. However, she has realized that she "cannot afford to get upset" and proved that if you believe in yourself, if you have that strength within, then you can do anything... even if it is against your odds...
